More About Us

I am a retired 30-year U.S. Army Veteran. My highest service award is the Bronze Star for my last deployment tour at Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan, servicing alongside the U.S. Marine Corps. I am a devoted family man, married for 30 years to my wife Karla with two young men, now with families of their own. Following my retirement I taught Army JROTC at East High school in Kansas City, Missouri then at Sheffield High School in Memphis, Tennessee. Currently, I am employed with Maverick Trucking out of North Little Rock, Arkansas driving flatbed in the Midwest region.

It is this income that will lay the foundation for my next venture, “A Touch of Grace Pressure Washing & Auto Detailing.” The name was developed from my spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ. It was by the grace of God that restored me back to Him, through His Son Jesus Christ. “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
